Sanyo ECJ-HC100S Fuzzy Logic Rice Cooker

This 10 cup rice cooker is one of Sanyo's best small cooking appliances on the market as it prepares very good quality rice, has several specific rice settings, a white rice texture settings, a steaming feature, and what we loved the most, a great slow cooking feature.

For making rice, this Sanyo rice cooker and slow cooker combo utilizes fuzzy logic technology which monitors how the selected rice type is cooking. The results are always consistent with each batch having a high quality standard...better than your average plug, set, and forget electric rice cooker!

The Sanyo ECJ-HC100S comes with a steaming tray for making vegetables along with other healthy steamed food, and also comes with a separate slow cooking bowl for preparing slow-cooked stews, soups, and sauces.

For the price, not only is this Sanyo fuzzy logic rice cooker worth it, but it is one of the few cookers on our site that offers the most value.

Sanyo ECJ-PX50S "VPC" Cooker

Another highly recommended cooker from Sanyo is this model.

This unit brings many diverse settings to the table including a newer "VPC" (Variable Pressure Cooking) technology that yields very good to excellent quality white and brown rice dishes. VPC ensures that each grain is cooked evenly and efficiently by rapidly moving the rice around inside the extra thick bowl this cooker comes with.

Like the above ECJ-HC100S model, this cooker also has a slow cooking setting along with a vegetable steaming feature. However, the slow cooker setting is not as good since it only has an 8 hour total cook time.

Other benefits include a porridge and oatmeal setting along with a great keep warm mode that keeps the rice at an ideal ready-serve temperature once the cooking process has completed.

The 5 Cup size makes around 15 cups of cooked white rice; the perfect size for an average-sized household.

Sanyo ECJ-S35K Small Rice Cooker

For those who prefer a more compact Sanyo fuzzy logic rice cooker, consider the ECJ-S35K.

It has a 3 cup capacity rice bowl that is cook for yielding around 9 cups of cooked white rice (a tad more for brown), and like the others on this page will monitor how the rice is cooking by making fine temperature and cooking time adjustments along the way.

It may appear to be slightly "greenish" in some online pictures, including ours, but we are told the unit is black.

For rice settings, there are white rice, brown rice, sprouted brown, mixed, and rinse free rice. There is also a bread baking setting aboard this Sanyo fuzzy logic rice cooker too.

Other key benefits are timer options, keep warm functions, a stay cool carrying handle, and a retractable cord for clutter free hassle.
